It is Matthew
Biggs, Jr and his three daughters Lenore, Lois, and Flossie, taken around
1905 in Delaplaine, Arkansas. Matthew was one of the original petitioners
for the incorporation of Delaplaine. He either owned ot operated a mill in
Delaplaine. Matthew was born in the town of Clinton, Hickman County, KY in
1865, and came to Greene County in the early 1880 where he married Lura Orr
in 1885. They had the three daughters shown in this photo and a son Elzo
Biggs who is buried in Jones Ridge Cemetery, Delaplaine.
