Thomas Jefferson Thomason and his wife, Eliza Jane (Kent) Thomason, taken
before 1875. He was in the Arkansas 5th Infantry Confederacy and was shot in
the leg with a cannon ball. He had a lifelong limp thereafter. After the war, he
donated land for Palestine School to be built in Greene County.
