Obituaries For 1928

M.E. Taylor

ME. Taylor, 79, died last evening at 8:45 p.m at the home of Cecil Smith, two miles northeast of Cardwell, Missouri. Mr. Taylor had been in failing health for the past year due to high blood pressure and was suffering from a cough. Mr. Taylor worked yesterday, he took a coughing spell last evening and died. He was a native of Tennessee but had been residing in Greene County since 1897, residing in Paragould and also in the Bethel section. He moved to the Smith home about a year ago.

Deceased is survived by one daughter; Mrs. Tom Clarke of Monette, Route 1; four sons, George Taylor of the Clark & Taylor Barber shop of this city, Shannon Taylor of Stuttgart, Holden Taylor of Keo and Joe Taylor of Palo Alto, Calif.; one sister, Mrs. Minnie Carr of Sharron, Tenn., and one brother Robert Taylor of Martin, Tenn.

Funeral services will be conducted Thursday morning, February 16, at ten o'clock from Brown's Chapel cemetery. The Reverand's Cecil Hicks and E.Z. Newsom will officiate.

Son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jobe is Dead

The five month-old son of Mr. and Mrs. Sam Jobe of Route six, died Saturday afternoon following an illness due to summer complaint.

Funeral services were conducted yesterday afternoon at two o'clock and burial was made in Wood's Chapel cemetery
