Lilburn Barnhart

Lilburn Barnhart, 79, Marmaduke, a retired farmer, died Tuesday at his home. He was born at Hollowrock, Tenn., and moved to Greene County at an early age.

Survivors are his wife, Lena Butler; four sons, Clifford, Marmaduke, Doff, Fresno, Calif., Carman, Fresno, Calif., Donald, Casa Grande, Ariz.; a daughter, Mrs. Cecial L Stokes, Cahokia, Ill; two brothers, Seab, Marmaduke, Dolphn, Corcoran, Calif.; a sister, Mrs. Ruby Harness, Marmaduke; 20 grandchildren and 17 great grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 2 pm Saturday at the General Baptist Church in Marmaduke with Rev. Goerge Ward officiating. Burial by Mitchell Funeral Home will be in Harvey's Chapel Cemetery.

Friends may call at the Mitchell Funeral Home Chapel in Rector until time of service.

James H. White

James H. White age 76, of Clio, MI. died Tuesday July 19, 1966 at his home in Clio.

He was born September 22, 1889 in Gainesville, AR., to J.H.C. & Mary F. Valentine~White.

Mr. White was a member of IOOF and was employed at Chevrolet Manufacturing, retiring in 1956.

Survivors include his wife Martha V. Penny~White, sons Henry of Clio, MI. and William of California, daughters, Violet Williams and husband Norman of Flint, MI. and Mrs. Vida Troge and husband August of Fenton, MI. 19 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.

Funeral services will be held at 3 p.m. Thursday at the Sunset Chapel, Reigle Funeral Home, 4305 Clio Rd. Rev. Joseph Hayes will officiate. Burial in Flint Memorial Park Cemetery. Mr. White will lie in state at the funeral home.

Robert Lonzo Ramer

 

Robert Lonzo Ramer, 80, of route one , Marmaduke, died Wednesday, November 9, 1966 at the Paragould Hospital.

Funeral services were held at Ramer's Chapel Methodist Church Thursday afternoon with Bro. Benny Parmenter and Bro. Shelby Crawford officiating . Burial was in Ramer's Cemetery with Irby Funeral Home in charge.

Survivors include his wife Minnie and two daughters, Onnie (Ramer) Smith of Marmaduke Arkansas and Gladys (Ramer) Easley of San Antonio Texas and six grandchildren , and eight grate-grandchildren. Also a bother, Pink Ramer of Quitman, Ark. And two sisters Mrs. Meadie Bryant, of Quitman Ark. And Della Brewer of Marmaduke Ark.
