ALBERT CLEO BLYETH

Albert Cleo Blyeth, age 80, of Gladstone, Mo., formerly of Paragould, died Friday, June 4, 1993, in Gladstone.

He was born August 29, 1912, in Conway and was a retired brakeman for Missouri/Pacific Railroad.

Mr. Blyeth was a member of the Eastside Baptist Church in Paragould.

Survivors include his wife, Thelma Frances Blyeth of Kansas City, Mo., a son James Blyeth of Springfield, Ind., a daughter, Avanell Ohler of Kansas City; a foster son, Farris Brown of Imlay City, Mich.; two sisters, Vauda Osborne of Jonesboro and Doris Meyers of Ureana, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and a great grandson.

Preceding him in death were his parents, Anderson and Fay Blyeth, and a sister, Geneva Shourd.

Graveside services will be at 2 p.m. today at Linwood Cemetery in Paragould with Dr. C.A. Johnson officiating. Visitation will be from 11 a.m. until service time today at Mitchell Funeral home in Paragould.

Hiram Nelson Jr.

Born April 1, 1923, Hiram Nelson, Jr. passed away September 5, 1993.

Preceeded in death by his wife Mae Arlene Nelson. Survivors include four sons and five daughters.

Interment: Brown's Chapel Cemetery

Opal Morgan, 82, of Paragould , died November 9, 1993 , at Arkansas Methodist Hospital in Paragould .  

She was born June 18, 1911 and attended Calvary Baptist Church in Paragould .  

She is survived by her husband, Harry Morgan of the home; a son Tom Bomar of St. Louis, Mo.; three stepsons, Clarence Byrd of Jonesboro, Wendal Morgan and Glen Morgan of Yuba City, Calif.; three stepdaughters, Mary Sellars of Yuba City, Charlene Seachord of Texas and Virginia Daulton of Portland, Ore.; one half-sister, Buddy Duggar of Abilene, Texas; two grandchildren, two great grandchildren; 11 step grandchildren; and five step great grandchildren.  

Graveside services will be held today at Linwood Cemetery , Rev. Kenneth Morgan will officiate.  Mitchell Funeral Home is in charge of the arrangements.

 

Annie Mary Jordan

Funeral Services for Annie Mary Jordan were held at 2:00 p.m. Friday, December 31, 1993 at the First Baptist Church of Marmaduke, Arkansas.

Mrs. Jordan was born January 21, 1908 in Marmaduke and passed away December 29, 1993 Arkansas Methodist Hospital, Paragould, Arkansas.

She was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.

Interment at Memorial Gardens Cemetery with Kim Bridiges officiating.

Survivors include: her husband, Myron Jordan, two sons, Robert E. Jordan and Jerry Jordan, two daughters; Agnes Smith and Betty Sue Cole; two sisters; Lucy Essman and Vesta England. 11 grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one brother, Marvin Huckabay and two sisters; Beatrice Batten and Vivian Hoggard.
