In 1987 the Hempstead County Clerk's office released to the Hempstead County Genealogical Society all the loose marriage certificates that were not picked up by the couple after marriage was recorded. This is not a list of all marriages in Hempstead County, just the loose marriage certificates. There are over 4,000 certificates and I will try to list them all over the next few weeks.
