The State of Arkansas Sct County of Hempstead On this 14th day of November AD 1848 personally ? before me the undersigned clerk of the Circuit Court for the County aforesaid Sinkler Johnson and being sworn states on oath that Deborah Johnson of the County ? said departed this life intestate on the sixth day of the present month that the estate is worth he supposes about seven thousand dollars and that she left the following heirs Viz this officiant the children of Simon Baird whose names are Louisa Edward and John. The children of James Johnson whose names are William Johnson Edward Sinkler Johnson Waitsell William Henry P Johnson Louisa Jane Witter Sarah A Mitchee (ed. note-I think this should be Mitchell) Nancy P Smith Andrew N Johnson Martha Ann Johnson and Jeremiah P Johnson The children of Edward Johnson whose names are James F. Johnson Catharine Cheatham Mary Jane Brunson Rebecca Booker Henry A Johnson William Johnson and John Johnson these heirs of John Johnson. Sinkler Johnson and John Johnson and the children of Sarah Smith the wife of AJ Smith and the children of Jane Johnson late Jane Stuart the wife of Adm Stuart Rebecca Pate the wife of Jeremiah Pate. all of whom are residents of the county and state of ? also Rebecca Teal wife of George Teal Elizabeth Fowler wife of John H Fowler all of the state of Texas also the heirs of Polly Lowe whose are Edith Ebby and Deborah and they ? when last heard of in East Tennesse and Nancy Posten Posten of the state of Missori. And this officient further swears that he will make a full and true inventory of the possession chattles rights accounts of the said deceased and pay her debts as far as the assets in his hands will account and the law direct and that he will account for and pay over according to law all assets which shall come to his hands as possession.
