LESLIE, W.C. W.C. Leslie, Book D, page 106 "Last Will and Testament of W.C. Leslie Decd. Know all men by these presents that I William C. Leslie of Hempstead County Arkansas knowing the uncertainty of this life and the certainty of death and being in feeble health but of sound mind and memory I do hereby make this my last will and testament. 1st I appoint my beloved wife Sarah E. Leslie Executrix of this my last will. 2nd I bequeath and give to my said beloved wife all of my real property which I have not set apart to my children to wit, SE 1/4 and the NE 1/4 of the SW 1/4 section 23 TL.9 SR.26 west 200 acres more or less during her natural life to use enjoy manage and controll lease or rent as she may seem best for her interest 3rd I bequeath to her also all of my personal property of whatsoever kind I may die possessed of including moneys notes credits or effects to use controll sell or dispose of part or all of it if she deems it best for her maintenance and support. 4th It is my desire and wish and instruction that my said Executrix pay all of my just debts and funeral expenses and have our family graveyard enclosed for protection. 5th I advise my said Executrix and beloved wife to sell at private or public sale as to her may seem best all of the surplus property say the mower & rake and a mare etc. also to sell any other property she may seem best for her interest. 6th In a word I leave everything in my said wife's charge management and controll for her maintenance and support. 7th At my decease my said Executrix shall have this will duly Probated and recorded and I do not want any administration or appraisement of property or bond required of my said Executrix. when this instrument is duly recorded she can then take charge of said property and carry it purposes out. 8th For the good care of my son D.W. Leslie to me in my sickness I give to him at my death my watch. 9th I advise and wish is that my son Robert P. Leslie to live at home with his mother and help and manage her business for her and in case of the death of him that my son D.W. Leslie to assist her. 10th And I further instruct and appoint Robert P. Leslie to be adninistrator of my effect both real and personal if any left after the death of my said wife 11th now be it known by these presents that I have divided my lands except as above stated out to my children and grand children or child is the reason they are not mentioned in this will only by name to wit.
