Here is a court record of the estate of John Sutton.  

John was born 1796 in North Carolina to James and Nancy Sutton and his wife 
Sarah Richardson. Sutton was born about 1805 in Tennessee. The Sutton family 
came to Hempstead County Arkansas about 1849 from Bradley County, Tennessee 
along with several other Sutton families.  John died soon after arrival and 
Sarah died after 1870.

Present the Honorable Daniel C. Wilton, Judge
Estate of John Sutton, deceased
Whereas it appears from the appraisement of the estate of John Sutton, late of the 
county of Hempstead, deceased, this day filed, that the same amounts to the sum of 
One Hundred and thirteen dollars and fifty cents only.  Whereupon it is ordered by 
the court that said estate rest absolutely in Sayun Sutton, the wife of the said 
deceased, and that no administration be granted on said estate.
