Armstrong-Thomas-Walker Cemetery
The Armstrong/Thomas/Walker cemetery is located in the SE 1/4 SW 1/4 S19 T6S R16W. Directions: From 3rd & Main St. in Malvern go South on Hwy. 9 for 8.4 miles, turn right on H.S. Co. 57 at Guy Nix's, go 3.8 mi. & turn left on Hwy. 222, go 1.1 miles East & turn right on H.S. Co. 53 (Radio Sta. Tower Rd.), go 1.1 mi. & turn right on H.S. Co. 54, go 2.3 mi. & turn right on International Paper Co. road. The cemetery is 0.6 mi. on the left. This dirt road continues west for 3/8 mile to the Pleasant Grove Missionary Baptist Church on H.S. Co. 59 but there are mud holes which makes this section of road impassable. Several headstones were set by the Thomas family in 1988 and an L-shaped concrete curb with white gravel was placed on 9 of the Walker family graves. Family information is from I.W.
