PHABY/PHEBY
I am looking for any record of my great grandparents, Thomas PHABY and Nancy Brown COOK. My Grandfather, John James PHABY, b 3-15-1880, in Laclede County, MO. Information on his parents was obtained from death certificate. Possible alternate spelling of surname is PHEBY. PHABY family moved to Baxter County, Arkansas. John PHABY married Clara FOUT in Baxter County 7-4-1903. PHABY family moved south to Jackson County to small community, Estico, and then moved back north to Hoxie. John PHABY had at least one sibling, Belle, married in Baxter County 8-11-1905 to Walter CALLOWAY. A Mary A. PHABY, b. 1838 d. 1905, is buried in Oak Forest Cemetery, Lawrence County. Unknown whether this Mary PHABY is related, but probably is because of unique spelling of surname. Please help, if possible, to locate info on my great grandparents. 1900 Fox Dr. Ste. Also listed in the 1870 Pulaski County, GEORGIA census is a Mary Dent, age 17, whom I believe to be the sister of Zachariah. I have good information on the Dent family before this "gap" in research. RICHEY
I have traced my RICHEY family to Gideon B. Richey, born 1820, in Indiana and his wife, Lucinda, born 1824, also in Indiana. They had five children all born in Arkansas: Mary born 1846, Margaret born 1847, John born 1851, Joseph P. born 1855 and William born 1857. Gideon, his wife and two oldest daughters are in the 1850 Arkansas, Lawrence County census. Lucinda is listed as the head of household for the 1860 and 1870 Arkansas, Lawrence County censuses. I don't know what happened to Gideon during these two censuses. However, I have discovered a Lawrence County Arkansas Federal Land Record for Gideon B. Richey for 1885. Joseph P. born 1855 was my great grandfather. His son, John W. was my grandfather. John W. had a twin brother Jasper Newton and they were born May 1878. In addition to Gideon B. Richey, other Richey families from Indiana listed in the 1870 Arkansas Lawrence County census were: David L. Richey born 1826, Hamilton W. Richey born 1824 and James D. Richey born 1834. I assume that these families are related but have not confirmed this since I only became aware recently that Gideon was my great great grandfather.

WEBBER/OWENS
We are seeking any information on the mystery man of my family, my paternal Grandfather, Calvin Frank WEBBER, born 21 March, 1844 in WASHINGTON,Arkansas. We don't know which of the Washingtons in Arkansas that is; the County of that name, one of the two Towns or of the thirteen Townships in the state, even a parent county. At any rate I do know from the family bible that his mother's given name was Nancy and that on the 16th of August, 1876 he married Matilda Frances (Fannie) OWENS in Mena, Polk County, Arkansas. She was born 9 Feb, 1859 in Mena delivered most of the nine children she bore to Frank in Hot Springs, Garland County, Arkansas, died 9 Apr, 1912 back in Mena and was buried in the same Owens Chapel Cemetery outside Mena, where Frank was buried after his death 16 Aug, 1900. We know a good deal about most of their descendants, but nothing more of Grand-dad. If you could enlighten us on any point concerning this mystery man, the entire WEBBER family will be eternally grateful, and I thank you.

SURNAMES: TYLER, MCDONALD, SMITH, SNODGRASS, ROBERTS, PERKINS, PIERCE, HOGAN, MYERS, MILLER, ELDRIDGE, GULLETT/GULLICK, JOHNSON.
QRYTEXT: PETER TYLER had 20 children. Two of his daughters, Sylivah and Elaphar appear to have been married to Phillip Smith. Sylviah was married to Phillip Smith Oct 1833 in Lawrence Co. Arkansas. In the 1850 census Sylviah is alone with 7 children living next to William and Lucy Smith. In the same area is Phillip Smith and Elaphar Tyler Smith with a family and next to Alexander and Edith Smith. Is there more than one Phillip Smith? Phillip Smith is in the Will of Alexander Smith. I assume that is his father. There is also an older Phillip Smith in the same area. Help! Marla

QRYTEXT: I am searching for any information on the GULLETT/GULLICKS of Lawrence Co. Andrew Gullett died in Lawrence Co. Ar 1816 and names in his will wife Delpha and son Reece, and mentioning other children but no names. I see in early Lawrence Co. marriages Peggy Gullette married to Martin Johnson, Patsy Gullett married to Urrell Tyler, William Gullett married to Mariah Elizabeth Eldridge (mine). In tax records of Lawrence Co. in 1820's you see Reece, William, John and Delpha near each other and also Jeptha. Does anyone know these Gulletts. I am trying to find out if they are Andrew's children or whose children they are. Marla

QRYTEXT: I am searching for information on Isaac and Edward McDonald. Edward appears in Lawrence Co. in early 1820's. His wife was Rebecca Russell, daughter of William and Mary Russell. Also, Isaac McDonald married to Mary, perhaps Ivy is her surname. They appear a little later. Both die in 1830's near the same time. They are both from Georgia where there children were born. I have a marriage record for Isaac and Mary Ivy in Georgia but need to prove it is the same couple that comes to Arkansas. I have a will for both men listing their children. I would like to know if they are brothers and any other clues about these families. Marla

QRYTEXT: I have Sylvia Perkins married to James Tyler who appear to have come to Lawrence Co. Ar area before 1815, followed by James father's family, Peter Tyler. Sylvia was probably married to Peter in Warren Co. Ky or in Ill where their first children were born but I have found no record. It appears James and Sylvia were separated before 1850 for she is alone in the 1850 census with their son Benjamin. Family tradition says he may have married an Elizabeth and had Lafayette and Francis Tyler and others. I would like to know about Sylvia and her parents and siblings and about her son Benjamin etc. Also in the 1850 census Elizabeth Perkins one year older than Sylvia is living with her. Any clues would be appreciated. Marla

QRYTEXT: RATLIFF, James Howard - married Willie Elsie (Billye) ROBINS in 1929. I'm their daughter, Jeanne, and am looking for any childhood friends of my parents who remember how they were when they were young. Howard was born 4/14/05, and Billye was born 7/12/06 (he in Ravenden Springs, and she in Tuckerman.) Dad taught school at several small, rural one-roomers in the late 1920's-1930's. Mom was mainly a homemaker. I'm sincerely interested in any info anyone can provide, since I know their peers are getting very old, and my time for asking them questions about my parents is growing short. My father's mother was Owen SANDERS. She married James Thomas Ratliff around 1900. I never saw her in person, and only recently saw a photograph taken of her when she was in her late 40's. All my father's immediate kinfolk are deceased - I'd love to know more about her. Any help is appreciated.

QRYTEXT: I am looking for info on David Hoelscher or any of his family. He helped to build the first church built in Imboden, about 1880. It was a Catholic church that was later turned into a private house. Does anyone know where the church records would be now?
