COX

John Allbright January 1, 2006
I am looking for information on the following people who were my COX ancesters. They were living in or near Marianna, Lee County Arkansas during the 1870's. I have information that I would share (family Bible, several old photographs).

Barna COX b.1829 in N.C., married Katherine W. FINDLEY(b. 183_) in 1851, both were born in North Carolina, parents of:
Susan Frances COX b. 185_ in Arkansas
Joseph Daniel COX b. 1855
William Thomas Fillmore COX b.185_
John Henry Clay COX b. 1860 in Arkansas

Barna COX ran a saddle shop in Marianna, probably in the 1870's. His son Johnnie was shown in the 1880 census living in Marianna in the home of his uncle William B. JONES and children, and William was leasing a stable. I have photographs of Katherine, Susan, and John, plus some others that have not been identified. I would be interested in hearing from anyone who has other information or suggestions on where other information might be located.

BRACY

Terry Davis March 9, 2006
Hello,
My name is Terry L. Davis and my father is Terry Lee BRACY. He is buried at the Spring Lake Cemetery, in Turkey Scratch, Arkansas. My father died on July 18, 1975.
I was only two years old when my father died and I do not have an obituary, or any pictures of my father. My mother and father were not together at the time of his death and I was raised in Illinois and unable to ever get an obituary.
I have no memory of my father and I now have two children of my own and my wife is pregnant with our third and I would love to have anything referencing my father.
Any help you could give me would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Terry Davis

BARGER, GANN, WELBORN

Cathie Schoppenhorst May 15, 2006

I want to find where my grandmother, Ida GANN nee BARGER, is buried. Her death certificate states she died Dec 16 1934 at Research Hospital in Little Rock. Her obituary from the Arkansas Gazette indicates she was a member of the Baptist Church in Aubrey. Funeral services were at the chapel of E H Brown at Clarendon. When I wrote to the funeral home years ago, they said they had no record of her. For residence on my father's birth certificate, it states Lee County, Aubrey is post office, in country about 6 miles. I think it is possible she was buried wherever they lived. My grandfather was James Ernest WELBORN but he went by the alias John GANN. Thank you!
