I, my father and many family members were born/lived in Warren, AR. A Hightower's siblings were:Norwood, Fred and Maggie believed to have married a Jim JOHNS. Most of these families were from the Warren area. Two other brothers left home and were never heard of again. Their father's name is believed to be John who died in Warren ard. 1925-26. Also wanting to find WEAVER family. Lucy had several siblings of father, "Thomas" (not sure) supposedly of the AR area. They were brothers Ed, Henry, and sister Annie believed to have married a SIMMONS. Some members of both families lived in AR as well as TX. His wife, I don't know her name, died two weeks later. They both died of Thyphoid fever. They had the following children: Garnett MATHEWS (my grand-mother) Rod MATHEWS, William MATHEWS, Bertha MATHEWS, Pearl MATHEWS, Marie MATHEWS. I do know that they lived in the Raggio area of the county. When the parents died, the children went to live with various relatives. My grandmother lived with her uncle Charlie DOZIER in Moro. QRYTEXT:I am researching the family of John PIERSON (PEARSON) MARTIN b. approx. 1877 or 1879 in Mississippi. Two brothers, one named Fred and the other unknown. Parents died when boys were young and they were separated and believed to be raised by relatives. John (my grandfather) was raised by Floyd S. and Annie Jeffcoat Johnson TRIPLETT in or around what is now Moro, Arkansas. John married Bessie JOHNSON about October 1902 and he died in Memphis TN on February 1, 1963 and was buried February 2, 1963 in Sunset Memorial Park in West Helena, Arkansas. Bessie died at Helena Hospital on June 26, 1979 and was buried beside John at Sunset Memorial Park. They had 3 sons and 2 daughters: William Horace MARTIN b. 1/31/16 d. 6/15/80 m. Willie Era VINING 4/2/44. Both are buried at Sunset Memorial Park. Hugh Fred MARTIN m Buelah KING and is buried in Sunset Mem. Park (I think) third son Wiley MARTIN is buried in Ohio. Daughters: Faye MARTIN STJOHN is buried in Sunset Memorial Park and Ruth Martin BILLINGSLEY BIETH married first David BILLINGSLEY - divorced - married Bob BIETH . Ruth died approx. February 1986 and she is buried at Sunset as well. Any information or help on this family would be greatly appreciated. I am the granddaughter of John and Bessie and the daughter of Horace and Era MARTIN.

QRYTEXT:My name is Kathlyn Faye PIGG Terry and I was born and grew up in Moro. I knew Doctor WILSFORD well and remember the car he drove - a Model A . I broke my arm when I was a child and Dr. WILSFORD set it. He had to use a wooden shingle from someone's house for a splint. My arm healed very well, which was a miracle as it was a compound fracture, and there was no such thing as an xray in Moro. I remember his office, which was in a building that was formerly used as the post office. I remember Miss Carrie WILSFORD, his wife, and she was very beautiful and had the most beautiful curly hair. I remember their house in 'Old Moro', but it did not look like the one pictured on the internet. If anyone wants to know why the town was designated 'Old Moro' I will be happy to write about it.

QRYTEXT:I am looking for any information on my great grandfather, Marion Whitson LINCOMFELT, and his wife Henrietta HARRISON LINCOMFELT. The last info on them was 1910 Montgomery Township census. Henrietta was with her children and listed as a widow. In 1900 on the Choctaw census in Indian Territroy OK Marion and Henrietta were listed with their children. Marion listed Chat, Tennesee as his birthplace and he was around 60 in 1900 so he was born around 1839. his fathers name was Whitson LINCOMFELT from Germany and his mother was suppose to be a full blood Indian tribe unknown. Henrietta was born in Miss and her father was J.M. HARRISON and her mother was Martha Lucretia HARRISON. J.M was born in Georgia and Martha was born in Alabama. Henrietta's brothers were George and Joseph and were younger than her. I think her grandfather's name was Jason. Any info anyone could give me on Marion or Henrietta would be greatly appreciated. From the "Hatch, Match and Dispatch" Births, Marriages, Deaths, Etc. from the Baxter Bulletin, Mountain Home, AR, Book #8, 1944 Thru 1946. January 7, 1944 Issue I quote: "Four of Oldest Citizens Celebrate Birthday: 1st - George HIGGINBOTHAM will be 89 on January 11. He came to Mountain Home from Lee County many years ago." A very likely place to look first would be Lee County, AR. He came to Mountain Home in 1896 at the age of 42. There he married my grandmother, Nancy Elizabeth FANNING in 1898 and divorced her in 1901. He married Lucy LEWIS in 1904. I would like to find out about my great grandparents. Help!

QRYTEXT:I am searching for my great grandfather's parents and other ancestors in and around Lee County Arkansas. His name is Arthur (Auther) Columbus CAMP. He was born in 1888 in Lee County as far as we know. His father, Thomas CAMP, was from Arkansas but not sure if from Lee County. His mother was "Nannie" ADAMS. We are not sure if Nannie was a nickname or her real name. Arthur or Papa CAMP as we grandkids knew him married Paralee RIDDLE. They had two children Thomas and Claude. We believe that Paralee died during or after childbirth with Claude in 1912. In December 1917, Papa CAMP married his second wife, Ruth Reta PUTMAN. They had four children. Margaree Evergreen, Viola Lavern, Myrtle Frances, and Eugene Harold. All girls were born in Moro, Lee County. Eugene was born in Searcy, White County, AR. If anyone has any information on any of these mentioned or on Papa Camp's father's family I would love to hear from you!

J.H. married Jennie MCKINNEY on Dec. 25, 1901, when, according to their marriage license, he was 24 and she was 18. J.H. would have been born in about 1877 and Jennie in about 1883. Also according to the license, they were from Vineyard (?) and were married in Lee County, AR. They had three children, Ernest, Nellie and George. George was the youngest and was my grandfather, born Dec. 6, 1906. Family stories say that Jennie died at a young age, but I do not know exactly when or why. Any info would be greatly appreciated.
