Following
information is on entrance: The
Memorial Park 1929 Committee was H.M. Jackson, C.C. Mitchner, Lee Mixon, O.C.
Sulton, A.C. Robinson, and C.T. Williams.
The Memorial Park 1929 Cemetery Association was Mrs. A.A. McClendon
– President, Mrs. Sam Harrington – Vice President, Mrs. J.F. Hunter
– Secretary, and Mrs. J.F. Hunter – Treasurer.
Mary
Anderson got this list going, and I started transcribing it on August 11,
2005. With the help of my sister,
Cricket, and my nieces, Randi & Brianna, I was able to complete the list on
November 13, 2005. This cemetery is
also important to me as my Grandparents, Arvil & Gladys Roberts, are buried
here, as well as a host of other relatives.
The list was completed and
all names were added on November 25, 2005.
Jane Hartley submitted a compilation using city
records and the records on this site to get dates and confirm spellings on
February 10, 2006. There are many
more names on this list for which there are no markers at the cemetery. I have provided links below to this
information.
If
