Lee County, Arkansas Cemeteries

Newsom Cemetery

Felton, Arkansas

Location: This cemetery is located in a field off of Lee Road 403.  Turn north beside the airport onto 403 and travel about 2 miles to 408.  Bear right toward Felton. You should be able to see a field road beside a ditch leading to a line of trees.  The cemetery is located at the end of the line of trees on the east side of 403.

I transcribed this cemetery on November 26, 2005 with the help of Andrew, Cricket, Randi, & Hannah.  The cemetery is still in use today.  It is across the road from the St John’s Cemetery.  There is a white sign with “In Honor of Frank Newsom” and a white wooden fence surrounding the cemetery.  If you know the name of this cemetery or anything about it, please contact me.

If you know of anyone else buried here, and would like to add their name, please contact me.  I can also create a link for you to any of these names if you find someone that belongs to your family.  The information presented is as correct as possible, however you may want to verify its accurateness.
