ALLEENE CEMETERY - Sad Report

I am sorry to report that from reading all the documents pertaining to this desecration of Alleene Cemetery there appears to be nothing that can be done to stop it. It seems the trustees are not in favor of changing any of their policies and so far the legal system is not favoring those families who are trying to protect it. The original organization of the governing trustees gave the sitting trustees the right to choose their replacements and this stops any effective input from those who have family buried there. Therefore, the trustees have unfettered control.

Let this be a warning to those of you who have given this much power to a similar governing body over your family cemetery. And BE WATCHFUL!!!!

Note: Plans have been made to re-canvas the cemetery in an attempt to bring the list current.
