He was born in MS in 1861 and died in Lonoke Co., AR. in 1903.; Hester L. (SPECK) married 3x. 1) Claudius P. HUNTER, 2) William Sanders CULBREATH, 3) Tom Noble. She was born in TN. in 1866 and died in AR. in 1945, buried at Stoney Point Cemetery, White Co., AR. Claudius P. HUNTER, b. 1860 VA.(?); d. 1894, buried at Stoney Point Cemetery, White Co., AR.; William Sanders CULBREATH, b. 1869; d. 1924 buried at Stoney Point Cemetery, White Co., AR.; Tom NOBLE, no further information is known on Tom Noble.; Clementine W. (SPECK) married W.W. THOMPSON. She was born in 1863 in MS. and died in White Co., AR. about 1895-1897. The 1890 White Co. Tax Roll lists W.W. Thompson in Union twp, school dist. 89. He is believed to have died in about 1895-1897 as well, according to an old family letter that has been found.; Robert Lee SPECK married Kitty KIRKSEY. TAYLOR, MCMEW, JOHNSON, ROSE - Looking for information on family ancestors, Sidney Ham Taylor, immigrant who lived and married in Missiouri around 1860/70's, do not know wife's name. Had two sons, James and George S. Taylor. James, died 1914, married Georgia Johnson in OK terrority, she was indian raised by a white family whose name she assumed, she died of TB in 1917 giving birth to last child. They had four children born in OK, MO and ARK, Tinnie who married a McMew and had 4 children, Eugene, not sure who 1st wife but had several children with, 2nd marriage was with Cora Sullivan, Sidney (my grandfather) born 1906 died 1954 Pulaski County, married Pina McNutt had two children Elmer and Mamie, Mae, born 1911 married to Rufus Johnson had three children. Georgia married her husband's brother George S., after James' death, neighbors felt George should not live with her and children unless they were married. George and Georgia had one daughter Donnie who married George Rose they had 3 children. Anyone who have any information to help fill in the blanks I would appreciate any help. MCNUTT, WILLIAMS, BEAUCHAMP, LYNN, BLEVINS, PUCKETT, MANLOVE - Looking for information on family ancestors, Leonard McNutt who married Josie Beauchamp and had six children. Would like to have information regarding grandfather and grandmother's parents. My mother states that her grandfather was black scott and german. He had a half sister named Gussie who married Andy Williams. Josie was born 1897 in Lonoke Arkansas, she and Leonard divorced and she married a Mr. Lynn and ran a dry cleaners in Salas OK, she died in Salas OK. Josie's father's name was James and lived in Lonoke ARK. Josie had 1/2 brother James and a brother named Thomas and 2 sisters, Apolois who married a Barker, Nora who married Blevins-Puckett-Manlove. COOK, BLAND, TOONE, DAVIS, WARD, BATES - William COOK moved to Butlerville, Lonoke Co., AR possibly from Louisiana some time during the 1870s with at least two small children, Annie COOK, born 1867-1871, and William Henry COOK, born about 1871. There may have been a third child. COOK was killed shortly after moving there and the children lived with different families in the area. Annie lived with the Tab TOONE family until she married Tom BLAND. I don't know who William Henry live with. I'm looking for any information on COOK or either of the children. Reed - Up to the early 1900s Jefferson William Reed worked in Lonoke County or England Arkansas at a place called Tucker's Sawmill where he died in an accident. I am trying to get those records in order to find his date of death and perhaps other valuable information. Aultman Geneva Alice Aultman, age 65, of Hazen died Tuesday, October 26,1999. Survivors are three sons, Glenn Prine of Hazen, David Hollingshead of De Valls Bluff, Ronnie Aultman of Vilonia; Three Daughters, Diane Raper, Rita Leistikow and Vickie Cote, all of Hazen; Two sisters, Betty Mann of Hazen and Marvelle Jones of California; 14 grandchildren, and six great- grandchildren. Funeral services were held Thursday, October 28, at First Baptist Church in Hazen by Bro. Ron Malone and Bro Tom Jones. Burial was in Hazen Cemetery. WISE, KINLEY, BELIEW, MORING - My great grandparents all lived in Lonoke in the early 1900s. They farmed for Ben Word and W.W. West. My great grandfather was Joseph Franklin Kinley married to Mary Elizabeth Moring Reeves Kinley. My other great grandfather was Ex Beliew married to Annie Elizabeth Wise Beliew. Joseph Franklin Kinley and Mary Elizabeth Moring Kinley are buried at the cemetary at Tomberlin and they died between 1945 and 1956. Ex Beliew died in 1973 and is buried in the Flynn Cemetary in an unmarked grave. His wife Annie Elizabeth Wise Beliew died in 1936 and is also buried in the same cemetary in an unmarked grave. POPE - I would appreciate ANY information on Henry Bainbridge POPE, who moved to Lonoke County sometime after 1890 and died there in 1898. GOSHEN, SMITH, PAYNE - My sources tell me there was an Indian Reservation in Lonoke, AR in the 1880's. My Grandfather John Smith, b.unknown-d.1898-99, married a "little Indian girl, named Goshen" in apx 1884 whose given name we do not know. I am told there was at least one Goshen family living on that reservation during that time frame. I need to know if this was a Cherokee reservation or Quapah or other. NIX - I am looking for information on the Nix family. This is my mother's family, that she knows nothing about. They were suppose to have plantation land, and a cotton gin at England, AR. They had a home place in Hot Springs. Mother does not remember her grandfather or grandmother except she was in a wheelchair. Mother's fathers name was Alf Nix, who died when mother was 3 or 4 years old in a auto accident, somewhere around 1923. He had a sister named Dovie and a brother, possibly Jeff?. She remembers the name Booker but does not know where it fits in. If anyone knows about a Nix family in the early 1900 I would appreciate your help, since I am new at this. OSBORN(E) - I am interested in information on my 3rd great grandfather's brother Daniel P. Osborn(e) who lived for many years in Lonoke co. He is listed in the 1900 and 1920 census. He married Sarah J. Moody in Mississippi in 1877 and moved to Arkansas shortly there after. I know he had at least 2 sons, Tom and Rufus. They are both listed in the 1910 census with their wives in Lonoke co. Tom listed in 1920 but not Rufus. MANN, WILLIAMS, BUGBEE - I am looking for more info on Gerald Mann, b. around 1888. He lived in Lonoke Ark sometime in the early 1900's. He married Bess, who had been married to a Mr. Bugbee. She had a son named George Bugbee, b. 1904. Gerald and Bess had daughters named Virginia Mann, and Elizabeth Geraldine Mann. They were born between 1907 and 1915. This family moved from Lonoke to Donna, Texas, which is in the Rio Grande Valley (border of Texas and Mexico). Gerald's sister, Caroline Virginia (Ladybird) Mann divorced her husband, Tom Melbert, about 1910 in Galveston, TX, and came up to stay with her brother Gerald, bringing her young daughter, Catherine (Dimple). Catherine remembers her mother playing the piano in the theaters during the silent movies. It is believed that Ladybird met Chester Baskin, who was working a mail route that went through Lonoke. They married, (I don't know where) and lived in Little Rock, AR, and had 3 children in 1915, about 1917 and 1918. I would like to find more about Gerald, and maybe find a marriage record for Caroline Virginia (Ladybird) Mann and Chester Davis Baskin, about 1913 or 1914, and find some of these folks in a 1910 and 1920 census.
