About 1831, the WILLIAM B BOWEN group migrated from White County and Grainger County,Tennessee to Madison County, Arkansas.  Believed to be in the group were WILLIAM B BOWEN and LEVICA (MCELHANEY) BOWEN with baby daughter MARTHA BOWEN, Henry and Mary (Counts) Bowen, the parents of William B Bowen, John & Hannah (Bowen) McElhaney with their children, the parents of Levica (McElhaney) Bowen.
Nicolas Bowen 7 family, Nicholas the brother of William B Bowen.
John W Bowen & Joseph C Bowen, the sons of William B Bowen by his first wife.
Mary & Sarah Adams, the young daughters of Levica  Bowen by her first marriage.
David & Anney (Bowen) Jackson and family, Anney the daughter of Henry & Ann Bowen.
John Bowen & Jane (Bridgeman) Bowen and family, John the son of John Bowen & Sarah Bean.
Willam & Nancy (Morgan) Boatright and family, James Boatright the son of William Boatright and his first wife Jemina Bowen,
Issac Counts and family, the brother of Mary (Counts) Bowen,  Mary the wife of HENRY BOWEN JR who was the father of William B Bowen and there
were others.
