Charlotte Ann (Perkins) Harris, 88 of Boise, passed away at her home Sunday, Feb 21, 1999, surrounded by her daughters and grandaughters,

Graveside services will be held, Thursday, Feb 25, at 2:00 pm at Morris Hill Cemetery under the direction of the Alden- Waggoner Funeral home.

Charlotte Ann was born Nov 8, 1910, near Ozark, Ark, she is the daughter of Jess N Perkins and Frankie Ellen Perkins. She attended the local schools in Barnes, Ark, and later "The Mountain Crest Girls School" at Mountain Crest, Ark,

Charlotte Ann married Guy Ritchie Harris o Sept 15, 1929, Charlotte and her husband, Guy, bought a farm and later purchased a sawmill and manufactured hardwood lumber in the late fall of 1945, they sold their farm and lumber mill and with their three children, daughter Christine, son Guy Eugene and young daughter Mary Frances, moved to Idaho City, Idaho.

Guy established a new lumber business on Grimes Creek, "Guy Harris Lumber Company" Charlotte was a wonderful wife, a loving mother and was an nspiring partner to her husband.

Eventually, Charlotte and Guy relocated their lumber company to Gowen Field in Boise. They moved into their new home on Roosevelt Street. This move gave Charlotte an opportunity to pursue her hearts desire. She loved and tenderly cared for her vegetable garden, her flowers and
especially her rose garden, it was as if they knew and flourished bountifully for her.

Charlotte shared with her good neighbors and family and others in need.

Charlotte was a member of the order of the Eastern Star, Mystic Chapter #81. She was a member of the Red Rock Christian Church, where she served as a Deaconess. Charlotte frequently visited a local nursing home, taking her home cooked food for the nursing home patients, brightening their day with her food and visits.

Charlotte was preceded in death by her husband, Guy, on April 8, 1983.

She is survived by three children.
