CATHERINE RING was born about 1750, she married SAMUEL KEITH, son of CORNELIUS KEITH.

1 HENRY KEITH born 1750.
2 GABRIEL KEITH born 1755, Bortertort County, North Carolina.

3 MARY POLLY KEITH born about 1759, Bortetort County, North Carolina, she had a real hatred for Indians all her life, as her father Samuel Keith was killed by Indians just before she was born.

MARY POLLY KEITH'S mother was (Catherine Ring) was born about 1759 in Buncombe County, North Carolina and she died  the early 1800's in Perry County, Kentucky.
 

MARY KEITH married JAMES RITCHIE born 1751 born Scotland?

Mary Polly Keith moved back to Virginia after her husband died, he was drowned, crossing Carrs Creek in 1818, a branch of Troublesome Creek in Perry County, Kentucky.

JAMES RITCHIE served in the 2nd Virginia State Regiment in the Revolutionary War.

2 ALEXANDER CROCKETT RITCHIE born in 1778, Buncombe County, North Carolina, he died 1878, he is buried  in Richie Cemetery, Fisty, Kentucky.
3 HENRY RITCHIE born bet 1784 - 1790, Buncombe County, North Carolina.
4 MARY POLLY RITCHIE born bef 1784- 1790, Scott County, Virginia.
5 JAMES RITCHIE born bef 1790 - 1800, Buncombe County, North Carolina, married SALLY CARTER, June 18, 1825 in Scott County.
6 ELIZABETH RITCHIE was born abt 1805, Buncombe County, North Carolina, she died in Lawerence County, Arkansas, she married CHARLES BUSTER, June 22, 1824 in Scott County, Virginia.
