ISOM SOLOMON RITCHIE

Isom Solomon Ritchie was the son of Hiram Edward Ritchie and Margaret Adeline White.

Isom Solomon Ritchie was born Aug, 1860 in Madison County,  Arkansas, he died Aug 9^th, 1941 in Macomb, Pottawatomie County, Oklahoma of heart failure. He is buried in the Praire View Cemetery, Macomb, Pottawatomie  County, Oklahoma.

He is listed on the 1870 Census of Valley Township, # 89, Madison County, Arkansas.

Isom and Elizabeth Ritchie took their seven children and moved to Oklahoma.

About 1901 / 1902, the last three children were born in Macomb, Pottawatomie Co, Oklahoma, there Isom Solomon Ritchie farmed, owned  Ritchie’s Merchantile  and was  Justice of the Peace.

Isom Solomon Ritchie married Elizabeth Price, they are both buried at the Praire View Cemetery, Macomb, Oklahoma.

Elizabeth ( Price) Ritchie’s brother John R Price married Sarah ( Sally) Armantha Dearmore, the sister of Amanda Adeline Dearmore, who married Henry Crocket Ritchie, brother of Isom’s father Hiram Edward Ritchie
