Is this
The home of
James Wesley Covington
I am a family researcher for the Estes's, Layton's and Covington's of Marion and Boone counties. My computer is down right now and am temporarily using my sons so I've not followed the regular list inqueries for a year or more.
However, I have a question and wonder if you or anyone in the Marion County area can help me. Below I have an email and photo sent to me by one of my Covington Connections. He was recently in Yellville and was looking for the home of James Wesley Covington. I think James lived in yellville and then moved to Harrison later, but I'm under the impression he lived in Yellville before 1900. I am not sure this is the home Charles thinks it is. I have the same photo that was taken by my mother on a trip down there 4 yrs ago. The town Major was giving my mom a little tour of Yellville. She talked about the Tutt and Everett fued and said this was were they lived. So I am assuming this was a Tutt home? can anyone help with this or have any ideas where the Covington homestead is or was?
Thanks,
