"Dinner on the ground" was one of the anticipated events during Decoration Day activities in the Ozarks' past, such as is pictured above at Freck. The lady with the white hat is Joshie (Welcher) Davis and the man in overalls nearest the camera is John Dodd The lady in the dark hat with a purse under her arm is Violet (Rice) Williams.
