Hi Linda, I had you post an unknown photo several years ago, and I think i have found the family standing in the picture and who's house it is. This is in reference to unknown photo 15.
I had thought it was the Laytons or Jefffersons, because of how I aquired the picture, but a woman contacted me stating she has photos of the same house and for her it had a Lancaster connection.
I was doing some investigating of photos of J.D. Stanley and his 2nd wife Sarah Lancaster Stanley and I bet that is them in the front of the photo to the right of the gate, Sarah may even be holding one of her children born abt 1886, Francis. Even as difficult as my photo is to see i saw a photo of J.D and it sure is a match!
So, will you label it as the Stanley home? I am trying to see if I can get a better/clearer scan in case family members want a copy.
