MEET
NEWTON CANNON SULLIAN & PINKNEY MONROE DANIEL
Submitted by: Lois (Sullivan) Stradley (stradleylois@hotmail.com)

Dividing Line

This is a photo of my grandfathers. The one on the right is Newton Cannon Sullivan the son of Granville Sullivan and Elizabeth Derryberry. He came to Marion Co after 1870 and he and his wife, Augusty Alvatyne Horton, had a place in Markle Hollow. Augusty was the sister of Mary Horton Markle. Newton is buried in Keese Cemetery. The grandfather on the left is Pinkney Monroe Daniel of Searcy Co., the blacksmith in Pindall Searcy Co. AR. The photo was taken in 1953 on the day my parents, Clyde Sullivan and Delphia Daniel Sullivan, left AR for Yakima WA.
