REDMAN posted by David Redman on Wednesday, April 1, 1998

Senator F.P. REDMAN of Phillips and Monroe Counties, Arkansas, attended the Arkansas State General Assembly in Little Rock from November 1, 1858 to February 4, 1859. He took part in the creation of the new county, Craighead County, Arkansas. My grandfather, Frank Parmenus REDMAN (same initials as the senator) was born in Jefferson Township, Jacksonport, Jackson County, Arkansas, on January 26, 1857. I am trying to determine the relationship, if any, between my grandfather and the Senator. I would appreciate any information about the family of the Senator and/or Frank Parmenus REDMAN. Many thanks.
