I am looking for information on The Q.T. HOLLOWAY family who came to Ark in the 1860/70s...Quinton T was the father of Elizabeth "Betty" HOLLOWAY who married J. A. (John Austin) COOK. Q T had approx 12 children who lived to maturity they all lived in or near the Blackton & Clarendon area. John Austin COOK & Betty HOLLOWAY had 8 children, six of which lived to maturity. They are both buried in Shiloh cemetary along with Q.T. & his wife. Can anyone help me with these intertwined families? My mother, was born in 1918 in Blackton, but I have no direct family contacts in Monroe Co. Thank you

I am searching for information on the HICKS' in Monroe County during 1840-1850. My GGG Grandmother was Nancy CRAFT HICKS and we are looking for the name of her husband. It is possible that it was Jesse HICKS. If anyone has any information on the HICKS and where they are buried in Monroe County, please notify me. They had one son, my GG Grandfather was the son of Nancy and his name was Alfred or Alford HICKS. He married Amanda Elizabeth DAVIS. Nancy CRAFT HICKS had a daughter Louise who married a CRISP from Arkansas. She is buried somewhere in Monroe or Bradley County.

Seeking info on Nehemiah and Mary SLOAT who lived in Cathe Twp Monroe Co. per 1870 census. Abigal C. SLOAT who married Joseph JONES 1869 is probably their dau. Found this in your marriage records...Appreciate any info on them.Have not found them listed anywhere after 1870. Per 1870 census index they were listed on page 1 of Cathe Twp, but it was difficult to read the film I viewed and couldn't find them.
