The cemetery is located on a knob covered with pine trees over looking Lake Ouachita, a peaceful spot. Actually easy to find if you know where to look. At the Washita Recreational site intersection of Hwy 27 and 88 if coming from Sims drive across the road, don't take the Mathews Hill road but head towards the recreational site with its picnic tables but park just before the short road heading down towards boat put in. About a two minute walk up hill off the gravel road through a forest of pine trees. Look for a big pine tree and beyond that a fence with the green white tipped standards marking Drew's headstone. About 100 feet to the SE is the lone 3ft high headstone marking the Cothern grave. OW Dec. 2007]
