Artesian Cemetery Artesian Cemetery is an old cemetery located a few miles southwest of Prescott. It is not fenced and was badly grown up with grass when I visited it. There was no evidence of any recent burials. From Prescott, go out the Washington Rd. (Hwy. 332) about 2.6 miles. Just before crossing the interstate, turn left on Rd. 227. Go to a crossroads and continue straight for about 1/2 mile. The cemetery will be on your left, just before the intersection with Rd. 225. This record made March 1, 1998 by Jerry and Jeanie McKelvy.
