More Nevada County Obits 1950-1980
The original obits posted on the site stopped at 1949.
These take up where the others left off.
The complete obituaries can be found on microfilm at
Southwest Arkansas Regional Archives at Old Washington,
eight miles north of Hope, AR. Some of the actual papers
are stored at the Nevada County Library in Prescott, AR.,
but are in fragile condition.
A new Nevada County library will soon be built
(a site was cleared in 2001). It is not known what
plans they have for storage of these old newspapers
when the library is moved.
