Bascom WHITESIDES died Monday night at the home of his sister, Mrs. BROOKS, In this city, after a brief illness of slow fever. He came here about two months ago to help wait on his brother, POMP, who was dangerously sick himself with the same disease. The funeral will be from the residence of his sister, Mrs. Emma BROOKS, today at 9 o'clock conducted by Dr. J. E. GODBEY and burial at Glendale Cemetery.
