Since the 1892 Real Estate Tax list and taking the place of the lost 1890 census is there anyway that can be checked to see whom may have been in household. I am finding A.J. NICHOLS on 91,92,93 then a C.H. Nichols on 93. Also I am finding a Fannie on 90 and also a P.G. on 90 and a P.P. on 89. I have reason to believe that A.J. and Fannie are my g-g- grandparents but try to find out about the others as I know that a lot of times relatives lived closely together. I also found a A.J. in Falcon as a land owner. Could these be the same? Any info on this would be greatly appreciated. Gloria Gardner

There has been several of the family trying to locate where Malachi TRAFTON is buried. He was married to Nancy Jane Trafton she died in 1913 and is buried at the Denton Creek cementery. I found out that Malachi died around 1860 but we have not been able to find out where. This is my 4g grand parents. Carolyn

I am not at all sure if this is where I go or not. Trying to locate gravesite for a J.A.(A.J.) NICKOLS (NICKELS) and his wife Fany. In an 1880 census he was 31 and she was 26. May be in or around Falcon. The census was on Alabama township of Nevada Co. I also beleive that there may have been land as in Falcon pg.118 is a Nickols, A.J. and then in Washington 91,92,93. Trying to get info. on a John W. LITTLE, born Jan.1972 in MS. and Molly A. NICKOLS, born Sept.1879 in Ar. They were on the Garland Township, Hempstead County census in 1900 as living there with 1 daughter. Other records showed where Molly married again in 1908. DANIELL, William Henry and Sarah (Frankie) STEWART, married in 1879, children Ludie, Milton, Willie, Fannie and Jewel. William Henry later married Mary Alice PARKER. This last family moved to Texas about 1888-9.

Trying to locate information of the family of Wm. S. ADAMS (of Laneburg) & Mallie M. BURKETT (of Morris) who were married 13 Nov 1898 re Nevada Co. records. Her parents were Perry & Mary J. Burkett, which may be the Perry & Mary Jane buried in Caney Cemetery. Would like to know if the other Burkett's buried there are connected to this family. Also, father of Wm. S. may be the Thomas J. buried in Snell Cemetery as there is a Florence M. 1892 - 1898, dau of T. J. & M. Adams. Florence M. is the exact name of the first child of Wm. S. & Mallie M. Adams b Oct 1899 in AR. Believe that some tragedy happened to this family because by 1910 Florence and a younger sister are in a Nazarene orphanage in TX. I find Florence and her mother in Tx census but would like to know when & where all of this family are buried. Wm. S. I believe may have died ca 1906 but I do not find him in any AR or TX death record, but deaths were not generally recorded prior to 1914 in TX. Florence married a Carter and I find it unusual that in the 1920's photo of Bluff City School I find several Carter students, including a Florence. Another note of interest is the fact there was a Nazarene Church located near or where the Morris Baptist Church is now. Any help with locating some info on this family would be appreciated. Thank you for all the information that has been posted on this site that I have been able to piece together tonight.
