Interested in any info on A.V. LANGLEY B. 1-26-1859 d. 2-11-1891 buried Piney Grove Cemetery, with a tripple marker Delta Haynie COX and James Monroe Cox. My grandfather William T. Langley was b. 1884 in Ark. His father is said to have been Andrew Langley and mother Elizabeth MONK, [could she have been a MUNN?] Andrew died ca. 1891 and Elizabeth a few years later and W.T. was placed in a home where later he was adopted by Cox. WHITE and Martha C. who were on the 1860 census for Carouse twp, Hempstead Co., AR, along with their children Sarah A.J. 8, Harriet J. 7, Liddy c. 5, James L. 3, Joseph E. 1. When Harriet J. married in 1874, she was listed as being from Nevada County. Harriet J. married James C or E CRAVENS of Williamson County, TX in Hempstead County on Dec. 25, 1874. I received info from a researcher for Hempstead County that her sister Sarah J., also married that same day to a John B. PIKE, also of Williamson County, TX. A double wedding? The GREEN(E) family would include John Robert Green, John Wesley Green, and Henry Green. I think the Greens may have come to Arkansas in late 1800's. Thomas KELLEY, who had married Mariah KEATH in Georgia and they had 8 or more children. Thomas Kelley had two boys William and Walter by another woman in Georgia, prior to marrying Mariah. I think they both married women by the name Savannah. Thomas also married Nancy GAMBLE and Laura (Laurel) WOEKEN. I am searching for any information on an Ernest ACKORS he was the brother of my great grandfather Andrew Wimsett Ackors the only information we have is that he was born possibly 1860 to 1870 died 1929-1930?
