My father was raised by his grandparents CLARK near Hope, Hempstead Co., AR. According to various documents, my father was Odell Clyde HARLIN (aka Clyde Odell Clark), b. 17 Nov. 1923/24/25 in Jonesboro or Forrest City, AR, and was several years old before he went to live with his grandparents in Hempstead Co. (Dad died in 1984.) His mother's name was Ellen and she was alive in 1950. Family lore has it that Dad was related to Glen CAMPBELL, the country singer. Dad's grandparents were Presbyterians. Circa 1952 an older female relative named Wilma, possibly an aunt, was living in Hope. While trying to find my dad's family, I have reconstructed the family/descendants of John C. Clark (son was Squire Billy of DeAnn) and have acquired information about the descendants of Pleasant W. Clark whose descendants lived in Nevada and Hempstead Counties. I hope that someone can help me find the names of Dad's grandparents, but in any case I am happy to share what Clark info I have. Thanks, Lee Harlin Bahan, email@example.com

MITCHELL, Benjamin Waller, of Prescott. Died 11/16/53, buried at Marlbrook Presbyterian Church cemetery. Is there any record of his birth date, or parents' names? I am trying to trace my family's heritage. Unfortunately, no one is left living who remembers. Also is there a record of his place of birth? Grandparents' names? I have tried the county cemetery listings, but Marlbrook is not listed as one. I can find no records. I would like to know where his parents came from and where they were buried. Maybe you cannot help, but I don't know where to turn. If you have suggestons, they would be appreciated. This is my grandfather. Through him there is a family link to Bill Clinton's mother. I would like to know where it is. I am Sharon Newberry of Grand Prairie, Texas.

Thomas FLOWERS, first son of John H. (brn. 1810 NC) and Lue (brn. 1835 AR) in then Columbia Co. AR. John H. Flowers moved to then Hempstead Co. from Gibson Co. TN in 1848 with his first wife and family and died there in his 70s. Interestingly, John H. lived in three different Arkansas counties and never moved (ie; Hempstead-1848, Columbia after 1852, and Nevada after 1871). John H. and Lue produced Thomas (brn. 1864), Lemuell (brn. 1866), Edmund (brn. 1869), Nancy (brn. 1873), and Lorie (brn. 1874) all in Columbia/Nevada Co. AR. Particularly interested in any details about the lives of John H., Lue, and Thomas. I believe Thomas to be my great grandfather Thomas Henry Flowers who married Emma FINCHER (brn. 1866) from Waldo, Columbia Co.,AR and died near Bonham, Fannin Co, TX with one of his brothers about 1899.

I would appreciate any information on Florrie HOLT d.o.d. Aug 18, 1877, buried in Snell Cemetery. This may be my great-grandmother that I have been looking for, for sooooo long. She was in Mississippi in the 1870 census. But nowhere after that. Her grandson, Andrew K (Andy) lived in Nevada and Hempstead Counties. He died in Nevada Co on March 9, 1909 and is also buried in Snell Cemetery. I would also like to know more about the cemetery, where it is located, are there any records, etc. Thank you for any help.
