I am looking for anyone with information on my great grandfather, William Henry McDONALD, and his father. William b. 9/25/1862, d. 4/6/1955. I do not know his father's first name, it might be Milton. The family always called him "Max" OR "Mac". I do know that he lived in Prescott before moving to Little Rock where he died about 1903. He is buried at the Mt. Holly Cem. in Little Rock, AR. If the age of his death is right, he would have been born around 1928. Any and all help would be appreciated. I am really stuck here, please help!!! Would be willing to share all information I currently have on the family. Thanks, Peggy McDonald Epperson

I am looking for info on my greatgrandparents who were Jack Bailey and Mary Etta Murrah. My great grandmother had a child out of wedlock named Charles Murrah who her parents raised. She was moved to MS to live with her Uncle "Bud" and met my greatgrandfather Jack Bailey. They had a son Robert Lee and daughter Berta and I believe that they had another daughter that died. I believe her father's name was Bosh Murray, or I have these names and I can't remember who they are supposed to be, George W. Murrah and Martha Young. Any info would greatly be appreciated.

Searching for descendants of Thomas Jefferson LITTLE, born Alabama 1838. Three sons, William (Bill), Robert (Bob) and John, left Alabama around 1902 and moved to East Texas and Western Arkansas. William Little's wife was Etta. Their children were Ethel, Ruba and William T. according to the 1900 Alabama census. Robert E. Lee Little was married to Josephine Paralee. Children were Thomas, Dorcas, Robert E., Earl and Viola. John was unmarried in Alabama but may have married after he arrived in Arkansas. All these brothers would have come to Arkansas from Langston, Alabama in Jackson County just after 1900. My great-grandfather, Wallace Barnes Little, is the youngest brother to Robert, William and John. Other siblings included Sarah, Thomas M., Francis, and Effa (married an Angles). Would like to establish contact and share info with descendants of these brothers that might still be living in Arkansas.

Pat Wade Wed, 27 Oct 1999 14:06:56
WADE, Vaughn born 31 Dec 1892. I would appreciate any clues you can provide to trace the family tree of Vaughn Wade's parents. I have called the Nevada County Clerk, LR Vital Records and the History Commission to no avail in trying to obtain a birth certificate. I have the death certificate for "Vaugn Wade" (Vaughn) who died in 1931 in Illinois. It is very difficult to read so the information I have is not in concrete. His date of birth 31 Dec 1892, Prescott, Nevada, AR He married in 1912 in Plainview, Tx. Parents ...need to verify: Milton Wade, Mollie Rogers, also born in Prescott [Son thought her last name was Norman]; brother: Martin "Mort" Wade, possibly Clifford. Would the birth have been recorded in the local paper? Any suggestions? Thanks, Pat Wade (My husband is the grandson of Vaughn Wade.)

Does anyone on this list know of a "BEASLEY Plantation" which is supposed to be in the Hope area? I have a cousin who insists she knows for a fact there is or was a Beasley plantation in or near the Hope area, her grandmother mentioned it and had supposedly visited it at one time. It was still in the Beasley family, but may be a connecting line. Our Beasleys were in the Nevada and Columbia County areas just before and after the Civil War. John C. Beasley, 45 or 49, married E.E. KITCHENS, 40 , on 18 Jul 1871 by T. M. Campbell, JP. Malone Beasley, 28, of Missouri Twp. to Elizabeth TORRANS, 17, of Alabama Twp. on 20 Jan 1870 by W.E. Nance, JP. Charles Journagan WHITE is my grandfather. His parents were John Franklin White son of George W. and Sarah F. (Loe) White. George W. White died about 1877 and Sarah married John W. LANGLEY in 1879. 1880 census shows Henry White age 8, John F. age 6, and Martha Lou age 1, with their mother Sally (Sarah) and stepfather J. W. Langley. Sarah died shortly after the census and the children were sent to live with the Loe relatives. My grandfather's mother was Susan Buelah DURHAM daughter of Noah Durham and Mary Frances WOODUL (her first husband was Henry Mathew BATES). She was the daughter of Joseph Woodul and Mahala MOORE. The Woodul's were from Tennessee and came to Nevada County in 1849-1850. Noah Durham was born in Alabama.
