Rogers Cemetery Rogers Cemetery is a small cemetery deep in the woods of southeast Nevada County. The timber around it was cut a few years ago, and the land is growing up in brush, briars, and young pine trees. There is an old fence around the cemetery. The road leading to the cemetery is about 2.5 miles from the Nevada-Ouachita county line on Rd. 179, commonly called the Frogshack Rd. Turn right on a logging road and travel northeast for about 1/2 mile. Just after the roads turns straight east, turn on an even dimmer logging road and go north about 3/4ths of a mile. Cross a large gas line and continue north about 1/4 mile. A trail will lead off to the right. Park and walk to the cemetery. You will probably need a guide to find this cemetery. The roads get bad in wet weather and there are no houses nearby. NAME BORN--- DIED REMARKS Dorcas, Aunt Sallie b. ------- d. ------- marked by rocks--1970 record Garner, Carrie (or Corrie) D.
