Arkansas Heritage Department and its seven divisions are devoted to the identification, protection and preservation of the state's natural and cultural heritage. It is a free-flowing stream in northwest Arkansas, a restored courthouse in Clarendon, and the state's first capitol in Little Rock. The Department is a pristine prairie in Harrison, a traveling theatrical troupe at a school in DeQueen, a territorial inn in Little Rock, and a celebration of Delta culture in Helena.
