The River Valley Genealogy Society (RVGS) is a newly formed group dedicated to developing and maintaining an extensive research library, provide educational opportunities for researchers, collect and publish appropriate historical records, and help to preserve important documents for the future. The RVGS serves the Arkansas River Valley area. This includes Conway, Faulkner, Van Buren, Perry, Pope, and Yell Counties. This group will be meeting Thursday, November 19, at 6:30 in the Farm Bureau Conference Room located on Shady Lane just off I40 and Highway 9 in Morrilton.
