Curell, Cecil C. -- Graveside services for Cecil C. Curell, 79, of Weiner, who died Wednesday at his home, will be held this afternoon at 2 in the Oak Grove Cemetery in Weiner with J.B. Huber officiating. Arrangements are under the direction of Roller-Farmers Union Funeral Home of Weiner. Active pallbearers will be Gene Caraway, Bill Reece, B.C. Gulley, Si Phillips and Kenneth Gulley. Visitation will be from 11 this morning until 1 this afternoon at the funeral home in Weiner. A Protestant, he was a mechanic and a crop duster pilot as well as owner of Curell Mowing Service. He graduated from a vocational school, was an Army Air Corps veteran of WWII and spent most of his life in Weiner. Survivors include his wife, Edna Curell of the home; four daughters, Dorothy Lee of Pensacola, FL, Carolyn Rigali of Dallas, TX, Gloria Cole of Carlisle and Ann Guffey of Belton, MO; three stepsons, James Paul George of Beaumont, TX, Eugene George of Dayton, TX, and Charles Russell of Jonesboro; three stepdaughters, Ann Guffey of Belton, Rebecca Smith and Gloria Cole of Carlisle; 27 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents and three stepsons. The family asks that memorials be made to the Oak Grove Cemetery fund.
