Obituaries
contributed by Evelyn Brown, proofed by Boyce Brown March 25, 2007Obituaries from Pulaski County in the 1950's and 1960's. I was given the opportunity to copy from a scrapbook of obituaries from the local papers for family and friends of the Goodson/Goodwin families.
Please note the following:
Dates were hand written on most of the obits. Some were not there and some were unreadable. For most there were two clippings - (1) for the death and (2) for the funeral service. Where no survivors are listed there was only a funeral service clipping. Some clippings were cut off in strange places. Any item marked with an * is included from other information available to me, i.e. SSDI, cemetery records and my own personal research. Names are spelled as they were printed in the newspaper, even though some are incorrect. I hope you will find this information helpful.
