Martin Jansen was born May 16, 1830 in Aix-La-Chapelle, Germany. He married Elizabeth Peters who was from Helmond, the Netherlands. (Identification of Lambert and Will might be reversed, as family members remember Uncle Lambert as being a huge man, requiring a special casket be made when he died. Uncle Will was said to be tall and thin.)
