The Looney and Hunter families lived in Warm Springs, Randolph Co., Ark and the little church there at New Home was only about 8 - 10 miles away. Grandpa's farm is only about 6 miles from the state line. The New Home church was the closest church to them, although there was one in Warm Springs, but it was further away. They used to have church in the one room school buildings, but again the closest church building was the one at New Home. The roads were still dirt as of 1995 in that part of the county. All pictures and family information on this page were submitted by Patric Riggs.
