Pictured is the Warm Springs Singing School of September, 1899. Noah Phillips was teacher of the class. On the front row, seated are, (first girl unknown), Dora KIng, Golden Tilgord, Mara Neighbors, Noah Phillips, teacher, Ava Holt, Ada Holt, Grace Carrens, Sarah Stubblefield, Eva Carrens. In the back row are, from left, (first girl unknown), Ellis Merry, unknown, Jasper King, Tom Carroll, next boy unknown, Stella Coleman, Rhoda Whittenburg, John King, Ida Price, Eunice King, Greenville Oakley, Palina Whittenburg, "Black" Bill Holt and Flora Oakley. C. H. Elliott was the photographer. W. D. Phillips of Route 1, Doniphan Mo., is owner of the photo, and Mrs. Fannie Merry of Warm Springs identified the students.
