SURNAMES: CARTER
QRYTEXT: ok, its been a long time coming but this is what I have, if anyone has anymore information I would greatly appreciate it. My grandmother was Eileen Carter Her sisters were, Emily (Versa) Carter (Myrick), Pearl Carter, Daisy Carter, Nettie Carter and there were more but I cannot remember the names at this point. There were some boys in there too but I know one of them died shortly after birth. My ggrandmother was Belle Parthena Carter (housewife, midwife) My ggrandfather was William Galspy Carter (blacksmith) William Carter had 2 wives, I am not sure of the names of both other than what I have given you here. I ordered death certificates today and once they come in I will know more. Oh, one other thing I know to be a fact is, my family line is related to ex-president Jimmy Carter. My cousin sent him our family tree to see if we were related since he grew up where they were all from or surrrounding areas and he sent his family tree back. Along one line or so they met and showed that we were related. I am in the midst of getting a copy of that family tree and once I do I think it will answer alot of questions that have been left unanswered for quite awhile. If you have any answers please e-mail me! Thank you! Janie
