QRYTEXT: I'm looking for information on the parents of Mary Alice Segraves (or Seagraves) Weatherford of Randolph County, Ark. She was born June 21, 1875, died Nov. 21, 1933, and buried in Hite Cemetery. Her husband was Thomas W. Weatherford; they were married in 1891; Thomas died in 1912. Thomas is my great-grandfather. I am having trouble verifying the names of Mary Alice's parents. I believe her father's name was Jacob Segraves. The LDS Family Search site gives conflicting information. Thanks Les Weatherford

I am interested in learning of the family who reared my dad, John Lee Orsborn. Their parents, Caleb Orsborn and Frances (Fannie) Shelton Orsborn were on their way to Texas with a wagon train when Fannie became ill and died in November 1904. Caleb died the next month in December. The siblings of John were: Jesse, Leslie, Elza and Maude. Thank you Patricia Osborn Orton aptgen@aol.com

SURNAMES: GREENHAW, THRESHER, WOODHAW, GUTHRIE
QRYTEXT: I am trying to determine my great grandfather's first name so that I can connect him to all the information I have about the Greenhaw family. I know very little about him, and have been searching in Crittenden County, because of information given to me that my grandmother, Mary Evelena (Evelyn) Greenhaw was born there in 1884. Recently I have learned that the family farm near Ravenden Springs, which I had thought was from my grandfather's side of the family, actually came through my grandmother's side of the family. But I don't know if it was through her father (Greenhaw) or her stepfather (Woodhaw). I have also learned that my great-grandmother may have had another marriage (Guthrie) between Greenhaw and Woodhaw--though that is still a matter of speculation. Would appreciate any information concerning the names GREENHAW, GUTHRIE, WOODHAW, OR THRESHER (my maiden name) who lived in Randolph County at any time between 1850 and 1900.

QRYTEXT: I am searching for information on Sarah Vann Edmondson and John Edmondson. Sarah is my GG Aunt and the oldest daughter of Sanders Vann and Mary Galloway Vann of Twiggs County, GA. Sarah was born ca. 1827 (most likely in Twiggs County, GA.) and married John Edmondson. The 1850 census of Randolph County, Alabama list a John and Sarah Edmondson. This may or may not be the John and Sarah I am searching for. Does anyone have information on this family? Could this Sarah have been "Sarah Vann"? Could she and John have moved to Randolph County, Alabama after their marriage? Would love to hear from someone that might have information on this family. Many thanks.
