EMAIL: denali@shawneelink.com
SURNAMES: CRAWFORD
QRYTEXT: My father was JOHN WILLIAM CRAWFORD b 1901 Randolph Co, AR - d 1977 Franklin Co, IL - m Sept 1922 to UNA PERRIN b 1902 Randolph Co, AR - d 1994 Franklin Co, IL. As a child, we often visited my mother's family, but no mention of dad's family. I understood that they had died in a flu epidemic when he was a child. I have since gleaned some information. My grandfather was CHARLES SYLVESTER CRAWFORD. I found him listed in 1910 Warm Springs Twp, Randolph Co as "Crawford, C. farmer, age 30 married Laura Allen, four children, JOHN (my father) James, Edith, and Ruth. Came from Missouri in 1879. Baptist." Thru other sources I have learned that CHARLES' father was "known as" EDWARD CRAWFORD and his mother was MARY BICE (Bise, Bias, Bouys, Byas???) I remember a conversation with my dad when I was about seven/eight when he told me that his Grandpa called himself "EDWARD" because he didn't like his "real" name, but I just cannot remember what he said his "real" name was. I do remember that dad said EDWARD had a brother, uncle, father or grandfather named VALENTINE and at that age I thought it was hysterical that anyone would be named VALENTINE. I would very much appeciate any information on this family. Thanks, Cathy

QRYTEXT: I am searching for the location of Wrenfrow Cemetery - I believe it to be located in Randolph Co., AR. In the 1880 census I found my grandfather Lee Lane living in his father's, Jacob, household in Davidson Twp. By the 1900 census he was with his own family in the Janes Creek Twp. I believe Lee's young daughter Willie Anna Lane b: 2 Jan 1894, d: 14 Jul 1895 was buried in the Wrenfrow Cemetery. Think this cemetery might be in or within close proximity to Janes Creek Township. I live in Poplar Bluff, Butler Co., MO & plan to visit the area in the near future, so I hope to find the specific location of this place before I leave. Thank you.

EMAIL: ksinman@crosstel.net
SURNAMES: INMAN, Joseph
QRYTEXT: There is a Joseph B Inman listed in the 1900 AR Census, Randolph Co. Current Twsp. He was listed as a Boarder in the household of James R Crowley of Current River Township. He was also listed as a Widower. His age, name, and area would indicate to me that this might be my GGrandfather. I cannot certify that he is since the information on Mr Inman is very limited. The only other thing that I really know about him is that he married Melvina Payne and that my Grandfather Joseph Alexander was born in Fulton County AR in 1864 or 65. However since he is listed as a widower and no children are listed on the census page I have no way of verifing. I would appreciate any information on Joseph Inman from any researcher or anyone with something that I can research. Kenneth Inman
