Darnell Cemetery

Range 14W - Township 1S Section 12

Information from: Glyde C. Reaves on July 17, 1986. He states that the property
originally belonged to a Doctor Darnell in Little Rock following the Civil War.
He said that it is probably a family cemetery and has from seven to eleven graves.
If any of them are marked, it is unknown, for the cemetery is under water and to
reach it, "One would have to wear hip boots." The cemetery is on the Saline
County Line, and it is felt that there are some CSA soldiers buried there.

Directions: From Benton, take Highway 5 to Little Rock. The cemetery is twenty
(20) feet off the highway at the county line, on the South side of the road.
