Walnut Bottom Cemetery is located in Saline County below the dam of Lake Winona, a reservoir for Little Rock. It use to
be located where water now stands. When Lake Winona was built in 1936 the graves were moved. The cemetery is where
many of Saline County's first settlers are buried. The bodies that were moved are marked with flat cement blocks
with names wrote, the names are easy to read except for grass growing over them and dirt wanting to wash across a
few. As of February 8, 1999 the graves below can be found here.
