Pictured above is my grandmother's sister Mabel Ollie Jones Abbott and her husband Curtis Glenn Abbott. Glenn was born 14 May 1910, a son of Addison Monroe Abbott and Martha Elizabeth Laird. Uncle Glenn was Scott County Treasurer 1947 to 1950; Scott County Sheriff 1951 to 1960 and Scott County Judge 1961 to 1972. Aunt Mabel was a Waldron school teacher for many years until her retirement. She was a daughter of Edgar Royal Jones and Myrtle Mae Pullen. Her siblings were Dollie (my grandma); Lester; Guy; Paul; Faye; Glynn (girl who died at the age of two) and Edgar, Jr., known as "Toot."
