From a special edition of the Scott County Advertiser newspaper of 3 April 1991, entitled "A Salute to Scott County Citizens 90 Years and Over." The interviews were done as part of a celebration of the Bank of Waldron's 90th anniversary.

C.C. "BILL" TAFF

C.C. "Bill" Taff was born in Scott County on February 20, 1900 to Calvin Chapman and Sarah Taff. He has been a lifelong resident of Scott County. In November of 1924 he met and married his wife Nora. They had 6 children of which 4 are still living. He attended school at Upper Center Point and is a member of Birdsview Methodist Church. He is a retired farmer and a great story teller.
